Care

Care Instructions are provided with every Lulu & Angel terrarium. Β One of the joys of a terrarium is that it generally requires only minimal care. Following a few simple, but important requirements, will keep your terrarium healthy & looking gorgeous for you to enjoy as long as possible.

  • place your terrarium as close to a window as possible (preferably east or south facing, never north or west during Summer, as the sun will cause the terrarium to overheat).
  • water terrarium sparingly. Β

Rainforest range; the moss should always be damp & there should be condensation on the glass. Enclosed terrariums may only require a light spray every month or so. Water should be visible in the bottom rock layer; about 1cm-2cm is sufficient. Do not overwater.

Ferntastic range; the moss should always be damp & there should be condensation on the glass. Ferns need filtered light so avoid placing in direct sunshine at all times. Enclosed terrariums may only require a light spray every month or so. Water should be visible in the bottom rock layer, about 1cm-2cm is sufficient. Do not overwater.

Seascape range; airplants take some of their moisture requirements directly from the air, however they do benefit from a light spray of water. Enclosed terrariums, about once a month (allowing plants to dry before replacing lids) whilst open ones, every week or so during summer, and fortnightly during winter.

Desertscape range;succulents & cacti also require minimal watering. Water with a spray bottle every couple of weeks or so, allowing the soil to dry out fully between watering. Β

  • micro-gardening; remove any fallen or dead leaves
  • rotate your terrarium periodically to ensure even growth of all plants
  • clean the glass within your terrarium periodically, either by spraying as you water your terrarium or by wiping with a damp cloth where possible

Unfortunately we are unable to refund or accept returns on terrariums or plants unless there is a fault with the product - please email us in this case.
